Even though the "Charming Clarinets" were founded due to a personnel shortage during the summer, musician Anja Bachmann, Gundula Hußke and Daniel Rothe grew so fond of making music together that they have now created a comprehensive musical repertoire.
Combining Classical and Romantic works, this ensemble enjoys using contemporary and jazzy compositions for their musical trialogues.
In early summer of 2009 these three charming musicians followed their romantic streaks and recorded the album "Letters to and from Novalis".
 
Incidentally, Mozart must have known about the harmonious sound of three clarinets playing together as he composed some exquisite pieces for such line-up…
