Studies / Education
1989 Anja studied classical clarinet (E flat, bass clarinet, and basset horn) under W. Hannak in Bremen, and under Prof. G. Zeretzke in Berlin; further education and training included Alto Saxophone, and later also Tenor Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone as well as Baritone Saxophone.
Engagements since 1994 First Solo Clarinet of Philharmonic Orchestra of Central Saxony in Freiberg. Anja further collaborated with the Philharmonic State Orchestra Bremen, the WDR Radio Orchestra in Cologne, the Philharmonic Orchestra Robert- Schumann Chemnitz, the Dresdner Philharmonie and the Staatskapelle Dresden.
Concerts & Repertory (selection)
1996 First solo concert with Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622 for as part of the Cultural Summer Festival of Central Saxony, which was also broadcast live on Radio MDR.

Recorded together with the WDR Radio Orchestra in Cologne in 2009 and performed live at the "Klaus von Bismarck Saal" at WDR in Cologne in October 2010, again in collaboration with the WDR Radio Orchestra, under the direction of Neil Thomson. further details >>>
