Renowned Bremen-born clarinettist and saxophonist Anja Bachmann has been performing as a soloist and as a chamber and orchestral musician for many years. She continuously inspires great enthusiasm among audiences and music critics alike with her passionate, expressive and sensitive playing.

Anja is equally appreciated and admired for her very special dual talent as both a clarinettist and a saxophonist. Consequently, her extensive repertoire is remarkably diverse, ranging from classical and contemporary music to jazz, tango and klezmer. This includes the clarinet concertos by Mozart, Weber, Françaix, Miles, and Copland as well as the saxophone concertos by Glazunov, Romberg, Preu, and Freiberg.
