- The Orchestra -
Renowned Bremen-born clarinettist and saxophonist Anja Bachmann has been performing as a soloist and as a chamber and orchestral musician for many years. She continuously inspires
great enthusiasm among audiences and music critics alike with her passionate, expressive and sensitive playing.
Anja is equally appreciated and admired for her very special dual talent as both a clarinettist and a saxophonist. Consequently, her extensive repertoire is remarkably diverse,
ranging from classical and contemporary music to jazz, tango and klezmer. This includes the clarinet concertos by Mozart, Weber, Françaix, Miles, and Copland as well as the
saxophone concertos by Glazunov, Romberg, Preu, and Freiberg.
"Music is food for the soul and cannot be replaced by anything else."
Zoltán Kodály

Due to the overwhelming reactions of the audience after their concerts and the great success of their first album “From Yiddish… to Klezmer”, the Klezmorim have used their 10th anniversary as an opportunity to produce a new album entitled “Di Musik sounds asoj schejn – Klezmer di “tswaijte”...
... And here one woman in particular ensured that the listeners will be raving about this evening for a long time. Because the concert was simply a gala for Anja Bachmann...
